Self Archiving

Share Your Published Research

Encouraging wider access and responsible dissemination of scholarly work.

Journal of Orange Technology (JOT) encourages authors who publish open-access articles to share their published research through institutional repositories or suitable subject repositories. This policy supports broader research visibility, accessibility, and knowledge dissemination.

1. Self-Archiving Permission

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit the final published PDF of their articles (Version of Record) in their institutional repository or any suitable subject repository immediately upon publication.

2. Self-Archiving Requirements

01
Use the Final Published PDF
Authors should deposit the final published version of the article, not an unapproved manuscript version.
02
Provide the Original Article Link
The deposited PDF must include a link to the published article on the official JOT website.
03
Identify the Version of Record
The online version available on the JOT website must be clearly identified as the definitive version of record.
IMPORTANT

Preserving the Scholarly Record

When sharing an article through a repository, authors must ensure that readers can access and identify the original published version on the official Journal of Orange Technology website. This helps maintain the authenticity, traceability, and integrity of scholarly publications.

JOT supports responsible self-archiving as part of its commitment to open access, research visibility, and the long-term dissemination of scholarly knowledge.
